Diddy do it?...

According to the New York Post, the raids on his properties by Homeland Security, there has been renewed interest in a lawsuit filed against Sean "Diddy" Combs in February.

Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones has reportedly sued the 54-year-old and is asking for $30 million in damages after accusing Diddy of sex trafficking, abuse, forced drug use, fraud and sexual assault. It seems Diddy has yet to be served with this suite, however TMZ and YouTube has had a field day.

The music producer claims he has suffered psychologically since working with Diddy on his The Love Album: Off the Grid record and that the music mogul failed to pay him for his efforts.

Diddy broke his silence through his attorney on Tuesday after Homeland Security raided his homes in Los Angeles and Miami in a sex-trafficking investigation, slamming it as an "overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs' residences."

"This unprecedented ambush... leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits," attorney Aaron Dyer said in a statement, adding that Diddy was "innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name."

But this is far from the case, according to Jones, who in his 73-page lawsuit, also included photos, screenshots and stills from videos to aid his case against Diddy.

Diddy denied Jones' claims in a previous statement from attorneys: "We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies."

Some of the pictures are graphic in nature and depict sex acts, while some show the aftermath of an alleged shooting.

Dennis Spurling Esq. did an amazing job breaking down the lawsuit from the Producer, “Lil Rod”. It what seems to be a money grab situation. I have been slow to comment on the Diddy situation because once again the “Powers That Be” have convinced us to eat our own. It doesn’t take a genius to see the play that is used against men, but particularly Black Men.

That sounds a lot like conspiracy theory doesn’t it? Well, we can ‘t ignore the obvious patterns of punishment to black men that speak out of turn or dare to expect fair compensation for fair labor. In my opinion, black men are always aware whether we like it our not this government can and will mobilize against anyone or anything that they deem an enemy even from inside its own population.

What makes “racism” structural? I believe what makes racism structural is when the ability to enforce that racism is baked into the laws, directly or indirectly. For example, when Mayor Guliani introduced “Stop and Frisk” in New York, which is only an extension of a Terry Stop (Terry V. Ohio). On it’s face it seems like to could be a great solution to solve for the crime problem. However, if the police decide to over-police areas full of minorities only, one could see how the law is being used in a way that would benefit one group and disadvantage /terrorize another group.

Which brings me to the Mann Act formerly known as the White Slavery Act of 1910. I bring this old law up because as we start to understand how legislation in this country works we start understand the strategies that are being levied against us. In order to save the poor white woman from the big black savage, the federal government made taking a white woman across state lines for the purpose of “ immoral acts” a crime. Don’t believe me?

The Mann Act formerly the White Slave Act of 1910:

In its original form, the act made it a felony to engage in interstate or foreign commerce transport of "any woman or girl for the purpose of prostitution or debauchery, or for any other immoral purpose". Its primary stated intent was to address prostitution, immorality, and human trafficking, particularly where trafficking was for the purposes of prostitution. It was one of several acts of protective legislation aimed at moral reform during the Progressive Era. In practice, its ambiguous language about "immorality" resulted in it being used to criminalize even consensual sexual behavior between adults. It was amended by Congress in 1978 and again in 1986 to limit its application to transport for the purpose of prostitution or other illegal sexual acts.

In addition to its stated purpose of preventing human trafficking, the law was used to prosecute unlawful premarital, extramarital, and interracial relationships. The penalties would be applied to men whether or not the woman involved consented and, if she had consented, the woman could be considered an accessory to the offense. Some attribute enactment of the law to the case of world champion heavyweight boxer Jack Johnson. Johnson was known to be intimate with white women, some of whom he met at the fighting venue after his fights. In 1912 he was prosecuted, and later convicted, for "transporting women across state lines for immoral purposes" as a result of his relationship with a white prostitute named Belle Schreiber; the month prior to the prosecution, Johnson had been charged with violating the Mann Act due to traveling with his white girlfriend, Lucille Cameron, who refused to cooperate with the prosecution and whom he married soon thereafter.

Dennis Spurling Esq. broke down one of the civil suites that has been one of the main documents being used to publicly tar and feather “Brother Love”. One thing that I truly appreciate about Mr. Spurling’s presentation is that it comes from the perspective of successful, practicing attorney. The seriousness of this subject demands the people involved are procedurally accurate from the beginning to the end of the process. Are we truly willing to allow lazy lawyering and TMZ to motivate the federal government to kick in the door of one of a few Black Male Billionaire’s in this country. This situation is the definition of a slippery slope.

Allegations seem to be to good enough to take away your freedom and livelihood. This is fundamentally against what the founding fathers intended when the constitution was written. Whether or not Blacks were intended to have these things, you could argue, but with all people created equal, a man is innocent until proven guilty. Let’s hear what Mr. Spurling has to say.

In conclusion, at the level where there is an abundance of money there will always be people acting in compromising ways. Lot’s of things can come out of these situations anytime someone wants to rock the boat. Disgruntled girlfriends, lazy employees, political opponents, or your wife’s boyfriend can all come after your livelihood via an allegation. In my opinion, the worst part about this is the lack of punishment for false allegations.

The Diddy case, in my opnion is about much more that what “Lil Rod”. I believe Diddy pissed off the people that can pull levers and Diddy has compromising evidence of those that can’t afford to let their secrets out. We all know what happens at these parties. Those that wanna get weird have the ability to get weird. Is there prostitution? Yes. Are there drugs? Yes. Are laws being broken? Maybe. And if in the court of law, people aren’t putting it on the wood, they shouldn’t have the right to publicly shame and slander American Citizens.
